Welcome I am an author, speaker and coach for mothers of children with additional needs. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I love a good chai, mojito and getting out into nature. I also have a background in corporate, yoga and meditation and love all things organic.
What I am really known for is gathering, soulfully supporting and holding space for women who find themselves raising a child with conditions from mild to severe. I support them to find purpose and peace in their challenging circumstances.
A little more about me:
I’m a proud mum of two young Goddesses Grace and Chiara and together with my husband Mauro, our family of four is perfectly imperfect. We’ve had to adapt to a very different kind of family life, than the one we imagined. Chiara was diagnosed at five months old, the words Bilateral Perislyvian Polymicrogyria, Microcephaly, Cerebral Palsy and Talipes turned our world upside down.
All of a sudden our baby bubble had burst and a new reality had set in.
What we didn’t know back then, was just how incredible our life would be despite such huge changes. We’ve learnt to adapt our lives with wheelchairs, walkers, communication devices, humour, courage, grace and grit. Every moment of darkness has been filled with ma stronger light to help is carry on forward.
I believe in soul family, that we connect to others who are inspired to learn, grow and evolve. The community of families and carers all over the globe are part of that family.
I’m curious about transforming loss through love and what it means to reach our full potential in this lifetime. Through sharing my story, I have connected to thousands of mums and families who have experienced a lot of challenges, yet they are some of the most beautiful and courageous people I have ever met.
Miracle Mama first began as personal blog to share my story and mostly to keep up with the hundreds of hospital visits, via a blog I named Chiara’s Journey. My blog posts were getting published as I shared my heart through my writing. A few years on, I also wanted to give a voice to the mums out there who are raising miracles too.
This is a sanctuary to help you slow down, reconnect and gather what you need to continue on your journey. No matter what stage of your journey you are going through, you are always welcome here. It’s not a easy path, some days we need an extra boost of love, perspective and patience to get us through those rough days.
It’s with great honour and gratitude that I thank you for being here.
